Grading

Grading will be done based on three exams and the homework assignments according to:

Quizzes & Homework 30 %
Midterm Exam 1 20 %
Midterm Exam 2 20 %
Final Exam 30 %
Total: 100 %

Following scheme will be used for letter grading:

>85 %

A
76-85 %

B
66-75 %

C

56-65 %

D

Homework will usually consist of one assignment per week mostly from (but not limited to) the problems at the end of chapters. Quizzes will be offered on a weekly basis.
