Spectropolarimeter's Software:
Spectra Manager
|
|
Spectra Manager is a
menu applicatiom that is used to start spectra measurement and
analysis and environment setting using the spectropolarimeter,
and selecting, for starting up and shutting down the Spectropolarimeter,
as well as for setting the communication port.
The
main menu shows the standard Measurement and Analysis program
menu. When additional programs are installed, they are added to
this menu. The Analysis menu appears on the left and the Measurement
menu appears on the right. To start a program, double-click on
the program in the menu. If the Spectropolarimeter has not already
been started, both the program and spectrofluorometer will start
simultaneously.
The Application menu is used to start-up and
exit Measurement and Analysis programs.
The Instruments menu is used to start and stop
hardware, set the communication port, and show the instrument
version information.
The following menu show the spectra analysis
window for the camphor standard solution at
52 oC. Note the position
of the vertical red cursor give the maximum and the intensity
of the signal, in mdeg. The lower portion shows the HT voltage
variation as a function of wavelength. The SpecManager can be
copied to any Windows environment and data analyzed, viewed, or
plotted.
The file search menu is shown below with details
of on how the campher spectra were obtained.

The Inteval Data Analysis is
shown below. The vertical red line shows the intensity at 192
nm. See an applications for protein analysis.
