The following shows and example of the Alarm Panel located just inside the second door of room 230 in Chemistry Building 65 (also designated the Graduate Building). Use the following procedure, if you enter a the code incorrectly wait a few seconds and begin again: 1. Enter security code .... to cancel the alarm (you will hear a chime) 2. You may need to enter the security code .... a second time. 3. Find the fault causing the alarm clear it at the source. Refer to the Alarm page for the type, location, and responsible person. 4. Enter the security code and immediately push buttons in a right to left sequence :
Review Advance Enter 5. Wait about 5 seconds 6. Renter the security code .... and then AWAY. (You will hear two sets of chimes.) 7. Wait about one minute to make certain the alarm condition does not occur again. This assumes the reason for the alarm has been removed.
