After a student's application file is evaluated by the Center for International Programs, then the Dept. of Chemistry & Biochemistry evaluates the application for award of a graduate assistantship and admission.

If a graduate assistantship is awarded, an offer letter is sent to the student and CIP initiates the I-20 forms to obtain a student visa. If a student is not awarded an assistantship, the student will not be admitted to the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, they may request that CIP send their application to another department on campus.
